PI Media is the largest student newspaper at UCL.

I joined the society as a News Correspondent for the online paper, reporting fortnightly on local and campus stories. I was then promoted to News Editor during my final year, leading all content on the News Desk by commissioning and editing weekly articles.

Festival of lights: how UCL celebrated Diwali

UCL Street Aid is a student-led society helping those experiencing homelessness in London.

Our main initiative was distributing hot food and drinks, toiletries, and warm clothing in our weekly outreach sessions. We also held monthly fundraisers and donation drives for local charities.

This society became a huge part of my undergraduate experience. My roles were:

Year 1 – Volunteer member

Year 2 – Publicity Officer, social media and communications manager

Year 3 – President, leader of the society
